I joined Nebulae Soft as a UI Designer and UX Researcher in June 2024. This role gave me my first exposure to structured, team-based professional work in a real product environment. I gained hands-on experience in how responsibilities are distributed, how teams collaborate, and how design workflows operate within an organization. This experience later helped me develop a more structured and realistic approach to managing professional work.
Working in a collaborative environment changed my way of thinking. Instead of focusing only on individual tasks, I learned to consider the overall product vision, timelines, and coordination between different roles. I developed a clear understanding of how design decisions connect with development, communication, and final delivery, which is essential for building sustainable digital products.
During this role, I independently handled a project for an army-related client. I conducted client meetings, gathered requirements, and coordinated with team members to ensure successful project completion. This responsibility strengthened my understanding of leadership, communication, and trust within a professional team setting.
One of the key challenges I faced was aligning different components of a project and ensuring that all stakeholders shared the same understanding. I addressed this through clear communication and regular clarification. Over time, asking the right questions became a core professional habit, reinforcing the importance of clarity in collaborative work.
Through this experience, I developed a strong understanding that sustainable work depends on well-defined systems, clear processes, and effective teamwork. Many practices I now follow today, such as valuing team input and collaborative decision-making, were shaped directly by this role.
After this period, I began my freelancing journey in January 2025, where I was able to apply the professional discipline, communication practices, and system-oriented thinking I had developed at Nebulae Soft. This role reinforced my belief that digital work is not only about delivering services, but about creating long-term value through people, systems, and responsible growth.
